Nice jacket.

I like the jacket. Plenty warm. Nicely thought out. I found it to be a bit tight on the shoulders but otherwise true to size.

Standard Supply Pt2

I just received my new to me Standard supply moto jacket and as usual the process from ordering to shipping was timely and efficient. Now the jest of this review. This is my second Standard Supply jacket as I went down a few weeks ago and the kevlar in the elbow patch saved my skin from road rash and in doing so the outer shell was torn up beyond repair. This new one is everything the old was was so I know it will stand up to many season of riding like the first one. My only one complaint. The color. My original jacket was the orange and black version and it was very helpful in having visibility/being seen. Now that the only color offered is black/grey I am concerned about visibility to other motorists( the only reason i gave it 4 stars instead of 5). Don't get me wrong I will rock this new Standard Supply on every ride(the zip in liner is a HUGE bonus here in Canada) just wish the orange/black version was still available. Overall, it's a great non traditional riding jacket and you can't go wrong by getting yourself one.

Nice Shirt

I am 5'9" 180lbs, ordered the large, fits great. I like the fact that SS makes the sleeves long, for full arm coverage when riding. The liner is good, I would like to see a version without a hood. Obviously, the shirt is warmer with the liner installed, but definitely not an all day cold riding shirt. With that being said, I did purchase this shirt for the warm or hot days of riding. So far it has been awesome, without the liner installed you get more air flow through the shirt or fabric keeping the body cooler. I also have the SS2400 Tough as nails helmet, the orange shirt and helmet match nicely! Really the only thing I do not like, is the hand warmer pockets, it is annoying to have a cell phone and wallet in these pockets when riding. The quick fix for me, simply put these items in my saddle bags. I recommend this shirt, it is comfortable both on and off the bike!!

Quality!!!

Received my jacket and was instantly happy with the quality of the fabrics and stitching. The sizing is a boxier loose American fit like other products I have from them. I'm usually an xl for fitting my frame but sometimes I find the sleeves get long for me with other brands I followed some advice and bought a large in my last two jacket purchases and it's worked great. I'm 5'10" and 215 and the size large jacket is a good overall fit. Worthwile purchase and looks like it should hold up for a while.
