I really wanted these jeans to fit because I like the look and the protection features. Despite what I read in other reviews about tight knees I ordered them. I hoped other reviewers just had massive knees and calves. Turns out these jeans are impossible to wear unless you have SUPER skinny knees and calves. I'm very average. In fact, I used to pattern model for a designer because I am so average. After a struggle I got them on. My hubby said the *** looked great. I even had my skinny sister try them on. She said, "Return them. These are made wrong." I went to take out one of the knee pads to see if they would fit without them, but the inner pocket holding the knee pad was ripped. I assume someone else had the same idea and they ripped it. I had one more idea... I to open the inseam and add a strip of fabric but I don't have matching fabric. And why should I spend $229.99 plus tax and then spend time to fix someone else's design problem! I'm disappointed.
